Day 1: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around Midnight arrival in Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and capital New Delhi is the main gateway for the travelers to India. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

 

Day 2: New Delhi-Saatal
The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon we will drive to Saatal. By the evening we will arrive in Saatal.

 

Day 3: Saatal
In the morning we will have bird watching in Saatal. This habitat offers different species like White-crested Laughing Thrushes, black winged Kite, Red-billed Leothrix, and Himalaya Ruby throat, Crested and Rock Bunting, Woodpeckers, etc. This scattered and deliberately undeveloped area is one of the most pleasant destinations.

 

Day 4: Saatal-Pangot
Today after having breakfast we will drive to Pangot. Today we will drive through one of the world's most spectacular mountain road onto the Kumaon Hills. On the way we will view various birds like Blue Whistling Thrush, Yellow Billed Blue Magpie, Blue-capped Rock Chat, White-capped Redstart etc. Then we will arrive at Pangot. Here one can see Slaty headed Parakeet, Grey Bush Chat, Long-tailed Shrike, Lesser Kestrel, Shikra, Chestnut bellied rock Thrush etc. Streaked Laughing-Thrush is a common garden bird here.

 

Day 5: Pangot-Ranikhet
Today we will drive to Ranikhet through the Himalayan roads. On the way we will watch the birds. We will see the birds like Sunbirds, Sultan Tit, and Scaly breasted Wren-babbler, Black Bulbul, Black-capped Sibia, Black Eagle, King Vulture, and Blue throated Barbet etc. Ranikhet means 'Queen's Field'. It is named after the wife of the 12th-century raja, Sudhar Deve. Spread along a ridge at 6004 feet, Ranikhet is covered with pine and oak forests. On its northern side it offers fine snow views. Ranikhet is still a cantonment. The town is now the home of the Kumaon Regiment, one of the Indian army's best. We will arrive in Ranikhet by the evening. Evening free for leisure.

 

Day 6: Ranikhet
Today we will enjoy bird watching in Ranikhet and surrounding areas. We will view birds like Blue whistling thrush, Eagle, Broad billed roller, Rose Finch, and Brown crested Tit etc.

 

Day 7: Ranikhet-Corbett National Park (about 77 km)
Today morning after breakfast we will drive to the Corbett National Park. This park was established in 1936 along the banks of the Ramganga River. It is the India's first National Park, and designated a Project Tiger Reserve in the year 1973. It is cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas and comprises a total area of 500 square km out of which 350 square km is core reserve. In 1957 it was renamed as Corbett National Park in honour of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary photographer and author. This park is known not only for its rich and varied wildlife but also for its scenic beauty. Around 50 species of mammals, 25 reptiles, 110 species of trees, 51 of shrubs and 33 species of bamboo and grass are found here. About 580 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded in and around the reserve. Great pied hornbill, Pallas's fishing eagle, Grey-headed fishing eagle, Red-thighed Falconet are some of the endangered birds found in Corbett. Other birds found in this region are Tawny Fish Owl, Great Hornbill, Scaly-bellied Woodpecker, Red-breasted Parakeet, Himalayan Swiftlet, Stork-billed Kingfisher and Himalayan Rubythroat. This park has Tigers, Leopards, Sambars, Chital, Hog Deer, Porcupine, Wild Pigs and Fox. We will visit the park on Elephant back or have a Jeep safari.

 

Day 8: Corbett National Park-Nainital
In the early morning we will drive towards Bhuvankhal to witness the beautiful sunrise and the snow-clad peaks of the central Himalayas. In the morning again we will have a jeep safari or elephant ride to visit the Corbett National Park. Then we will drive towards Nainital. Nainital is a 100-year-old hill station and is surrounded by a blue-green lake. This is Naini Lake, after which the town takes its name. Charming locales, elegant villas and boats skimming across the Naini Lake's water add to the ideal beauty of this 100 years old hill station.

 

Day 9: Nainital
Today after having breakfast we will drive to visit Bhim Tal. This lake resort is named after one of the Pandavas, heroes of the epic Mahabharat. It has developed into an independent tourist centre with water sports facilities. We will then drive further to Naukuchia Tal. This alluring nine-cornered lake is a heaven for migratory birds. Both yachts and paddleboat are available for plying on the lake waters and is a favoured spot for anglers. In the evening we will drive to Hanuman Garhi. It is a place of religious interest, also good to view the sunset.

 

Day 10: Nainital-New Delhi (about 315 km)
In the morning after having breakfast we drive to New Delhi. On arrival in New Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Rooms are available to get fresh and change before we depart for the Airport with Indo Vacations representative. The rest of the day at leisure (opportunity for the shopping or enjoy a massage in the Hotel)

 

Day 11: New Delhi Departure
Around midnight flight to home destination.

Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight at Delhi.

 

Day 3: Delhi-Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 4: Jaipur
Morning tour of Amer fort. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascent the fort on Elephant back. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.

 

Day 5: Jaipur-Ranthambore
Morning drive to Ranthambore and transfer to hotel. In Evening Jungle activities. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 6: Ranthambore
Morning and Evening Jungle activities. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 7: Ranthambore-Agra
Drive to Agra. Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon city Tour. Visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight at hotel in Agra.

 

Day 8: Agra-Khajuraho
Transfer to the Airport to board the Flight for Khajuraho. Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to Hotel. . Overnight at hotel

 

Day 9: Khajuraho-Bandhavgarh
Morning drive to Bandhavgarh and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho
Morning drive to Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Later visit the world famous Khajuraho temples. These Temples were built by the Chandelas between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The important ones are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath & Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of Temples. Parasvanath Temple is the only existing Jain Temple at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum. The Javeri Temple is dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 13; Khajuraho-Delhi
Transfer to the Airport to Board Flight to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel

 

Day 14: Delhi

New Delhi to Nainital by car. Distance: 280kms & 7 hr. drive. We put you up at a cosy boutique villa resort on a mountain top, The Hermitage, Kailash. Evening recreation would be a gala dinner with bar-be-que & Bonn fire. Relax in your cosy, fully furnished rooms with attached bathrooms and balconies or terrace, merging your room with the surrounding mountains, lush valleys and miles of pine, silver oak and deodar forests.

Day 3: Nainital
The dawn breaks with a fabulous view of the sunrise and chirping of some exquisite Himalayan birds.
With Bed Tea at your bedside, our cordial staff would soon be serving a wholesome breakfast, to prepare you for the day's excursion to Nainital, the lake town of the Northern Himalayas. At Nainital, you have a handful in store for you. Boating, sailing, ropeway and a wide spread menu for lunch. Shopping of some exquisite shawls & woolens very typical of the region, colorful candles, that is a cottage industry of Nainital and taking a good stroll by the lake side. If you are a keen golfer, you can have a nice afternoon tee off at the Nainital Golf Club, at a height of 6500ft MSL. Back to your resort, with a lit up fire place awaiting, your evening refreshments and a dinner you would long for the rest of your stay at the resort.

 

Day 4: Nainital
Ranikhet, Almorah and Jageswar are some nice destinations to visit. All these places are very scenic and have historical backdrops.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing Tour
Full day sightseeing tour is organized of Old and New Delhi visiting Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun's tomb (the fore runner of Taj Mahal), President's house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate - The War Memorial, The Modern Hindu temple - Birla Mandir. In the evening witness the son - et - Lumiere show at the historic Red Fort, an exciting transmission of sound and light effects rejuvenating the 300 years old Moghul history. Day 03: Delhi-Sariska 210 Kms.
Morning drive to Sariska Wildlife sanctuary. The Sariska Park is home to numerous carnivores including Leopard, Wild Dog, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackal, and Tiger. These feed on an abundance of prey species such as Sambar, Chitel, Nilgai, Chausingha, Wild Boar and Langur. Sariska is also well known for its large population of Rhesus Monkeys, which are found in large numbers around Talvriksh. Enjoy the Sariska Wild life treasures on the back of Elephant Safari. Overnight stay at the Sariska wildlife resort.

 

Day 04: Sariska -Jaipur 110 Kms.
After breakfast, proceed towards Jaipur. On way you will enjoy the lively roads with colorful people and also herds of cattle grazing nonchalantly in the fields and of course camel-the ship of desert. On arrival in the city you are transferred to your hotel. After lunch in the afternoon you will be guided to the imposing City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amer Palace, Jantar Mantar and the Jai Garh fort. You will be wonder struck at the cataract fountains pools and stone sculptures of the Sisodia-Rani-Ka-Bagh. Dinner followed by over night stay in the hotel.

 

Day 05: Jaipur-Ranthambore 185 Kms.
Morning drive to Ranthambor National Park and check in the jungle resort near Sawai-Madhopur. The park was included under the Project Tiger Reserves and is known for its tiger population. It is nestling in the foothills of Aravalli Ranges near the small town of Sawai-Madhopur. Go for an elephant safari to explore the treasures of the wild. You will encounter the great diversities Indian gazelle, Sambar, Nilgai (blue-bull), Chital, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and highly endangered jungle cat. You can capture some of these splendid memories in your still camera. Over night at the jungle resort.

 

Day 06: Sightseeing of Ranthambore Fort
After breakfast full day fun and adventure in the park. Start your day by taking a jeep safari, sighting a tiger or leopard can be easier when you are on four wheels. There are almost 25 tiger residing in the park. Then you will be visiting the famous Ranthambore Fort and Jogi Mahal dating back to the 10th century, the other attraction in the wildlife sanctuary. The fort is located on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the park and is the oldest prevailing fort in Rajasthan. Jogi Mahal now converted into Forest Rest House is famous for the second largest Banyan tree in India. Overnight stay at the jungle resort.

 

Day 07: Ranthambore-Bharatpur 185 Kms.
Morning drive to Bharatpur located 185km from Ranthambore. Bharatpur wild life sanctuary is located in the state of Rajasthan, and it was once the shooting reserve of royal family. It is one of the most marvelous water-bird sanctuaries in whole Asia and also included as a World Heritage Site in India. One can drive about 3km.from the Bharatpur town to this radically bewitching bird sight. You can shoot through your camera more then 353 species of bird that breed within the park. More commonly sighted are grey partridge, red wattle, common quail, egrets, and grey herons, sarus crane, rosy headed pelican and highly endangered Siberian crane. It is just fabulous to watch bird flying with their group low over the lakes and ponds. Overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 08: Bharatpur-Agra 50 Kms.
At daybreak, after breakfast, you start your trip to the Agra. En-route you make a sojourn at Emperor Akbar's deserted capital of Fatehpur Sikri- a proximal poetry written in red sandstone. As you are assisted to explore the city you recognize why it is considered as the magnum opus of the Mughals- no less than the Taj Mahal. Some of the majestic sights here are the Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Diwani-aam and Jodi Bai's palace Morning visit Bharatpur Sanctuary. Afternoon drive to Agra.

 

Day 09: Agra-Delhi 204 Kms.
After lunch, ready for your trip to the city of the Taj Mahal. The afternoon brings you the most engaging of all visions- the vision of the Taj Mahal- the perpetual emblem of love, fabricated in white marble. A visit to the Taj invariably replenishes your heart with a yearning for your loved one, and if they are with you, you are in celestial home. After the Taj you will be guided to the Agra Fort and the tomb of Itimad-ud -Daulah, a precursor to the Taj. Evening back to Delhi and transfer to airport for you forward destination with some beautiful memories.

Day 01: Arriving at Delhi
On arrival to Delhi International airport, you will be greeted by our represented and by due assistance you will be transfer to the hotel. Day 02: Delhi sightseeing of the city
After lavish breakfast get energetic for exploring the great treasures of Delhi. Start your daylong sightseeing excursion to Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) that includes the magnificent Red Fort built by great Mughal Emperor Shah Jhan, bustling Chandni Chowk the oldest shopping hub of Delhi and Jama Masjid one of the biggest mosque in India. You are bound to get mesmerized at the great splendor of Delhi City. Later after lunch drive past impressive avenues and building structures such as Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's Residence), India Gate, Quitab Minar, Birla Temple. Evening at your leisure, you can freak out in and around the busy Connaught Place and also go for shopping. Night at hotel.

 

Day 03: Delhi-Sariska
After breakfast drive to Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is abode of large number of wildlife and diverse variety of birds. You can also sight a tiger by taking up a jeep safari or elephant safari.
Night stay at the Sariska wildlife resort.

 

Day 04: Sariska-Jaipur
Early morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in the hotel, after lunch drive out to Amber Fort, the old palace situated high on a ridge, definitely go for an elephant ride that are arranged from the foot hills of the Amber Fort till the fort gate and have the chance to wander the resplendent scenario of the fort. The fort has some magnificent courtyards and palaces that will take you to the by gone era of the Rajasthan Regime. Overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
In morning you will be guided to the city tour of the Pink City. Visit the impressive City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar an observatory. In afternoon enjoy shopping at Clock Tower and Sardar Market famous for hand block printed textiles, enameled blue pottery, tie and dye works. Enjoy a typical Rajasthani cuisine at Rajasthani Village (Choki Dani) - your stomach will be full but there will be no end to the fabulous dishes that are served in typical Rajasthani Thalis, not to be missed. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 06: Jaipur-Ranthambore
After breakfast we set out for Ranthambore National Park and check in at the hotel in Sawai Madhopur. From there you are taken on a jeep safari to spot the tigers in this park. Besides tigers the park also treasures number of other wild species like monkeys, langurs and alligators along with motley of birds.
Stay overnight at the Ranthambore wildlife resort.

 

Day 07: Ranthambore-Bharatpur
Morning drive to Bharatpur wildlife sanctuary. The park treasures over 400 species of bird different birds have been identified in the park and you see them all over the place. Many tourists travelling to this destination have rated it as the highlight of their visit. You can also sight migratory birds the Siberian Cranes around the lakes and can shoot them in your video-cam. In evening drive to Agra City as the city is just 55km from Bharatpur. Overnight stay at the hotel

 

Day 08: Bharatpur-Agra
The morning holds immense fascination for you. You will be entranced at the vision of the Taj Mahal basking in the rays of the morning sun. The intricate designs and exquisite dome of this monument of love will yes, indeed cast a spell on you. Then you will be guided to the Agra Fort, another architectural marvel of the Mughals. After lunch you are right in front of the tomb of Itimad ud Daulah - the first mughal building built out completely of marble, a precursor to the Taj. Spend your night at hotel.

 

Day 09: Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Delhi
In the morning commence for the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri- 40 km from Agra. The city was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the elegant buildings - The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti,Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural gaiety but also its complete amalgamation. After Fatehpur Sikri drive straight to Delhi, stay overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10: Departure from Delhi
Morning after farewell breakfast you will depart to the airport, en-route you will be visiting the Chettarpur Temple one of the most renowned temples of Hindus dedicated to Goddess Durga, The temple has some most beautiful carvings and big gardens. From there you will be transfer to the airport to board a flight to your onward destination.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel.

 

Day 2: Delhi-Mandawa
Drive to Mandawa. Rest of the day visit the Shekhavati villages of Dundlod, Mandawa, etc. Mandawa was founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants. Mandawa houses a collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items preserved in a museum. The whole area of Shekhavati has beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions and is called the open air gallery.

 

Day 3: Mandawa-Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur. Rest of the day free.

 

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing

Morning visit the Amber Fort -the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas.

 

Day 5: Jaipur-Ranthambore
Breakfast at hotel, after breakfast drive to Ranthambore. Upon arrival at Ranthambore check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 6: Ranthambore
Explore the wildlife of Ranthambore.

 

Day 7: Ranthambore-Agra
Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. After sightseeing drive to Agra, upon arrival at Agra transfer to hotel. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Overnight at the Agra.

 

Day 8: Agra-Delhi
Breakfast at hotel, after breakfast visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. After sightseeing drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel.

 

Day 9: Delhi Sightseeing
AfTourter breakfast full day sightseeing of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Check out at 1200 hrs.Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre.

 

Day 10: Delhi Departure

Day 12: Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho
Morning drive to Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Later visit the world famous Khajuraho temples. These Temples were built by the Chandelas between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The important ones are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta or Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu, Vishvanath & Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple, Visha Temple of Shiva, which is the largest & most typical of temples. Visit the Eastern group of Temples. Parasvanath Temple is the only existing Jain Temple at Khajuraho and has excellent sculptures on the outer walls of the Sanctum. The Javeri Temple is dedicated to Vishnu. The other temples in this group are those dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 13: Khajuraho-Delhi
Transfer to the Airport to Board Flight to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 14: Delhi
Full day sightseeing and leave at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 15: Delhi Departure
Transfer to the Airport to board flight for onward Journey.
